Day 1 SFO/BEIJING
Depart aboard Air China or United Airlines wide cabin 747 jetliner and cross the international dateline.
Day 2 ARRIVE BEIJNG
Upon arrival, transfer and check into the five-star King Wing Hotel or similar.
Day 3 BEIJING (AB, L, D)
Visit Forbidden City, the residence of emperors for more than 500 years, Summer Palace, a summer resort for Empress Dowage Ci Xi, and Temple of Heaven, where the emperors once prayed for good harvests.
Day 4 BEIJING (AB, L, D)
Enjoy full day excursion to the spectacular Great Wall and the famous Ming Tombs. Enjoy Beijing Duck Dinner in the evening.
Day 5 BEIJING/XI'AN (AB, L, D)
Take a flight to Xi'an. Transfer and check into the four-star Royal Xian Garden Hotel or similar. After a little rest, take a leisure stroll on the city wall and majestic wild Goose Pagoda.
Day 6 XI'AN (AB, L, D)
A full day tour recalls the glories of ancient Xi'an, as we visit the burial site of an incredible army of 8000 lifelike terracotta soldiers; Neolithic Banpo Village. Top off the day with Dumpling Dinner followed by Tang Dynasty Culture Show!
Day 7 XI'AN/HANGZHOU (AB, L, D)
Fly to Hangzhou, the capital of the Zhejiang province. Upon arrival, proceed to visit the Six-Harmonies Pagoda named after the six codes of Buddhism. End today's tour by visiting a Tea Production brigade. Check into the four-star Zhejiang Grand Hotel or similar.
Day 8 HANGZHOU (AB, L, D)
Renowned for its beauty, Hangzhou is home to West Lake, which is surrounded by misty hills and walkways with panoramic views upon arrival. After breakfast, proceed to the Hangzhou's main tourist attractions including the West Lake and the Linyin Temple (Temple of Soul's Retreat), which is one of the ten most famous Buddhist monasteries in China.
Day 9 HANGZHOU/SUZHOU/SHANGHAI (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, take the deluxe coach to Suzhou, the city of gardens. Cruise on the charming Grand Canal, sightsee the old city gate, the Garden of the Master of the Nets and visit the silk Embroidery Research Institute. In the later afternoon, proceed to Shanghai, the commercial center of China. Upon arrival, transfer and check into the four-star Ambassador Hotel or similar.
Day 10 SHANGHAI (AB, L, D)
Today's sightseeing introduces the major attractions of the city, which includes Nanjing Road, Yuyuan Garden, the Museum of Art and History, and the Jade Buddha Temple. Enjoy Acrobatic Show at night.
Day 11 SHANGHAI/GUILIN (AB,L, D)
After breakfast, take a flight to Guilin, the most beautiful landscape city of China. City tour in Guilin features the Reed Flute Caves and Elephant Trunk Hill. Check into the five-star Lijiang Waterfall Hotel or similar.
Day 12 GUILIN (AB,L, D)
Spend the day aboard a scenic Li River cruise, passing picturesque farms and fishing villages with its thousands of limestone outcroppings.
Day 13 GUILIN/GUANGZHOU/HONG KONG (AB,L)
Take morning flight to Guangzhou. Today's tour includes the Chen Clan Temple, housing some of the best local craftwork, as well as the Memorial hall built for Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Then take train to Hong Kong. Greeting at Kowloon Railway Station, transfer to and check into the four-star Park Hotel or similar.
Day 14 HONG KONG (AB)
Half-day Hong Kong Island tour begins in the morning including a cable car ride up to Victoria Peak for a panoramic view of Hong Kong. Also visit Repulse Bay and Aberdeen with its floating community. Enjoy an afternoon at own leisure for shopping and personal activities.
Day 15 HONG KONG (AB)
Enjoy a free day and exploring.
Day 16 HONG KONG/SFO or LAX (AB)
Fly home on board Cathay Pacific or United Airlines wide body jetliner.
