Day 1 SFO / BEIJING
Board Air China or United Airlines' wide body 747 jetliner for Beijing. Cross the Int'l Date Line and lose a day.
Day 2 ARRIVE BEIJING
Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China, transfer to the Five-star Jade Palace Hotel or similar.

Day 3 BEIJING (AB, L, D)
Visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, the residence of emperors for more than 500 years. The Summer Palace, a summer resort for Empress Dowage Ci Xi, and the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests
Day 4 BEIJING (AB, L, D)
Excursion to the spectacular Great Wall. Visit Beijing Olympic National Stadium, "Bird's Nest" if it is open to the public. Return to the city in time for your Beijing Duck Banquet.
Day 5 BEIJING/WUHAN/YICHANG (AB, L, D)
Fly to Wuhan at the junction of the Han and Yangtze Rivers. Visit the Provincial Historical Museum. Then you will be transferred to Yichang and board the five-star Yangtze No. 1 Cruiser approved by the National Tourism Administration of China, or similar class.

Day 6 YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE (B,L,D)
Depart from Yichang at 7:00AM. Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam Site around 9:00AM, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. Continue sailing through the Xiling Gorge, the longest section of the Three Gorges system. Enjoy a welcome cocktail party hosted by the captain.
Day 7 YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE (B,L,D)
This morning we will board smaller boats for a trip up to Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream. Enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains as you pass through the Wu Gorge. Continue to the last of the Three Gorges, Qutang Gorge.
Day 8 YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE (B, L, D)
Shore excursion to the mysterious Ghost City, Fengdu. Go and explore how ancient Chinese people view their death and rebirth in giant carvings and sculpture. Enjoy a farewell banquet in the evening.

Day 9 CHONGQING / GUILIN (B, L, D)
Our cruise concludes as we arrive in Chongqing, and then have a City tour and the Panda Zoo. Fly to Guilin and check into Five-star Lijiang Waterfall Hotel or similar.

Day 10 GUILIN (AB, L, D)
Today's city tour features the Reed Flute Caves and Elephant Trunk Hill, where spectacular stalactite and stalagmite formations dazzle visitors. Shopping activities are available in the afternoon.

Day 11 GUILIN / YANGSHUO (AB, L)
Boarding on a scenic Li River cruise, passing picturesque farms and fishing villages with its thousands of limestone outcroppings. Take a cruise downstream to Yangshuo. You will have a lunch on boat. After you arrive in Yangshuo, check into the Five-star Green Lotus Hotel or similar. Free in the afternoon, and you will explore West Street in Yangshuo, which is lined with a cosmopolitan mix of shops, cafes and bars at night. Dinner on your own.

Day 12 YANGSHUO / XI'AN(AB,L, D)
After breakfast, take deluxe coach directly to the airport. Fly to Xi'an. Check in to Five-star Grand New World Hotel or similar.

Day 13 XI'AN (AB, L, D)
A full day tour recalls the glories of ancient Xi'an, as we visit the burial site of an incredible army of 8,000 lifelike Terra-cotta soldiers, majestic wild Goose Pagoda, and the ancient City Wall. Top off the day with Dumpling Dinner, followed by Tang Dynasty Culture Show!
Day 14 XI'AN/SHA/ SUZHOU(AB, L, D)
Take flight to Shanghai, then coach to the world famous Garden City of Suzhou. Transfer to Five-star Grand Metro Park Hotel or similar.

Day 15 SUZHOU / SHANGHAI (AB, L, D)
