Day 1 SFO /BEIJING
Depart aboard Air China or United Airlines wide cabin 747 jetliner and cross the international dateline.

Day 2  ARRIVE BEIJING
Upon arrival, transfer and check into the four-star Millennium Hotel or similar.

Day 3  BEIJING (AB, L, D)
Visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace & Temple of Heaven.

Day 4  BEIJING (AB, L, D)
Full day excursion takes you to the spectacular Great Wall and the famous Ming Tombs. Return to the city in time for your Beijing Duck Banquet.

Day 5  BEIJING/XI'AN (AB, L, D)
Take morning flight to Xi'an. Today's city tour includes the majestic Wild Goose Pagoda and ancient City Wall.  Enjoy Dumpling Dinner followed by Tang Dynasty Culture Show at night. Check into the four-star Hotel Royal Garden Xi'an or similar.

Day 6  XI'AN/GUILIN (AB, L, D)
A full day tour recalls the glories of ancient Xi'an - the burial site of an incredible army of 8,000 lifelike terra-cotta soldiers; ancient Banpo Village. Take an evening flight to Guilin and check into five-star Lijiang Waterfall hotel.

Day 7  GUILIN (AB, L, D)
Spend the day aboard a scenic Li River cruise, passing picturesque farms and fishing villages with its thousands of limestone outcroppings, Guilin has been the inspiration for generations of silk scroll painters.

Day 8  GUILIN/KUNMING (AB, L, D)
After breakfast visit Elephant trunk hill and reed flute cave, where spectacular stalactite and stalagmite formations dazzle visitors. . Fly to Kunming in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, transfer and check into the five-star Bank Hotel or similar.

Day 9  KUNMING (AB, L, D)
Visit the World-Horiti-Exop Garden and Dianchi Lake.

Day 10   KUNMING (AB, L, D)
Begin a full-day tour of the area with a two-hour excursion to Kunming's extraordinary Stone Forest a 270- million-year-old limestone outcrop resembling a petrified forest.

Day 11   KUNMING/LIJIANG (AB, L, D)
Take morning flight to Lijiang, which is a small town with a spectacular mountain backdrop, bordering Tibet. Along the way, enjoy the breathtaking scenery and have a stopover at a Bai village to see the traditional stone buildings. After lunch, visit the Black Dragon Pond, and the Dongba Culture Exhibition Museum, which represents the Dongba Pictographic Characters & Naxi Minorities mysterious Culture, some of which still use the matriarchal social system up till today. Late afternoon, tour the ancient Town of Lijiang, recently named a World Heritage Site by the United Nations in 1999. Check into the four-star Sightseeing Hotel or similar

Day 12   LIJIANG (AB, L,D)
A whole day tour starts with a visit to Yufeng Si, a traditional Lamasery famous for its 1000-year-old Camellia Tree. Take cable car ascending Yulong (jade dragon) Mountain to visit Yunshanping grassland, and tour the Baisha Naxi minority village with the ancient Dongba minority’s wall paintings.

Day 13   LIJIANG/SHANGHAI (AB, L, D)
Fly to Shanghai, the largest gateway city of China.  Transfer and check into the four-star Ambassador Hotel or similar.

Day 14   SHANGHAI(AB, L, D)
Today's city tour encompasses many of the city's major attractions, including the Yu Yuan Garden in the Old Quarter, the famed Jade Buddha Temple, the world renowned Bund on Shanghai's waterfront and the Nanjing Road. In the evening, enjoy Acrobatic Show.

Day 15   SHANGHAI/SUZHOU (AB, L, D)
Take coach to Suzhou city. Today's sightseeing features Lingering Garden, Grand Canal Cruise, Suzhou Silk Embroidery factory; ends with Fishing Net Garden. Take afternoon coach back to Shanghai.

Day 16   SHANGHAI (AB, L, D)
Enjoy the opportunity for you to explore Shanghai city.

Day 17   SHANGHAI/SFO(AB)
Fly home on board Air China or United Airlines wide body 747 jetliner.
