Day 1 SFO / BEIJING
Depart from SFO by Air China or United Airlines' wide body jetliner to Beijing. Cross the International Date Line and lose a day.
Day 2 ARRIVE BEIJING
Arrive Beijing, the capital of China. You will be greeted at the airport and transferred to five-star Jade Palace Hotel or similar.

Day 3 BEIJING (AB, L, D)
Visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, the residence of emperors for more than 500 years. The Summer Palace, a summer resort for Empress Dowage Ci Xi, and the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests.
Day 4 BEIJING (AB, L, D)
Excursion to the spectacular Great Wall. Visit Beijing Olympic National Stadium, "Bird's Nest" if it is open to the public. Enjoy Beijing Duck Dinner in the evening.

Day 5 BEIJING/WUHAN/YICHANG(AB, L, D)
Fly to Wuhan at the junction of the Han and Yangtze Rivers. Visit the Provincial Historical Museum. Then you will be transferred to Yichang and board the five-star Yangtze No. 1 Cruiser approved by the National Tourism Administration of China, or similar class.

Day 6 YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE (B,L,D)
Depart from Yichang at 7:00AM. Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam Site around 9:00AM, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. Continue sailing through the Xiling Gorge, the longest section of the Three Gorges system. Enjoy a welcome cocktail party hosted by the captain.
Day 7 YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE (B,L, D)
This morning we will board smaller boats for a trip up to Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream. Enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains as you pass through the Wu Gorge. Continue to the last of the Three Gorges, Qutang Gorge.
Day 8 YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE (B, L, D)
Shore excursion to the mysterious Ghost City, Fengdu. Go and explore how ancient Chinese people view their death and rebirth in giant carvings and sculpture. Enjoy a farewell banquet in the evening.

Day 9 CHONGQING / XI'AN (B, L, D)
Our cruise concludes as we arrive in Chongqing around 9:00AM. City tour and the Panda Zoo before transfer to the airport for a short late afternoon flight to Xi'an. Check in to Five-star Grand New World Hotel or similar.

Day 10 XI'AN (AB, L, D)
A full day tour recalls the glories of ancient Xi'an, as we visit the burial site of an incredible army of 8,000 lifelike Terra-cotta soldiers, majestic wild Goose Pagoda, and the ancient City Wall. Top off the day with Dumpling Dinner, followed by Tang Dynasty Culture Show !
Day 11 XI'AN/SHA/ SUZHOU(AB, L, D)
Take flight to Shanghai, then coach to the world famous Garden City of Suzhou. Transfer to Five-star Grand Metro Park Hotel or similar.

Day 12 SUZHOU / SHANGHAI (AB, L, D)
Today's tour includes Master's of the Nets Garden, Silk Factory or Embroidery Institute, and cruise on the famous Grand Canal. Afternoon coach back to Shanghai. Transfer and check into the Four-star Ambassador Hotel or similar.

Day 14 SHANGHAI / SFO (AB)
Fly home on board Air China or United Airlines' wide body jetliner.
