Day 1 SFO / BEIJING
Depart on board Air China or United Airlines' wide-body jetliner to China. Crossing the International Date Line and lose one day.
Day 2 ARRIVE BEIJING
Arrive Beijing, the capital of China. You will be greeted at the airport and transferred to five-star Jade Palace Hotel or similar.

Day 3 BEIJING (AB, L, D)
Begin your sightseeing with one of the wonders of the Ming Dynasty, the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City. Visit Tian-An-Men Square, the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace.
Day 4 BEIJING (AB, L, D)
Today, excursion to the Great Wall, a 4,000-mile-long rampart built over several centuries to keep out the invading Mongols. Visit Beijing Olympic National Stadium, "Bird's Nest" if it is open to the public. Enjoy Beijing Duck Dinner in the evening.

Day 5 BEIJING / XI'AN (AB, L, D)
Take morning flight to Xi'an. After arrival, transfer to Five-star Grand New World Hotel or similar. After lunch, city tour includes the Ancient City Wall.

Day 6 XI'AN (AB, L, D)
Today we visit the burial site of an incredible army of 8,000 lifelike Terra-Cotta Soldiers; Neolithic Banpo Village; majestic Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy Dumpling Dinner followed by Tang Dynasty Culture Show!

Day 7 XI'AN / GULIN (AB, L, D)
Take morning flight to Guilin after breakfast. After lunch, city tour features the Reed Flute Caves and Elephant Trunk Hill. Check into Five-star Lijiang Waterfall Hotel or similar.

Day 8 GUILIN (AB, L, D)
Spend the day aboard a scenic Li River cruise, passing picturesque farms and fishing villages with its thousands of limestone outcroppings. Guilin has been the inspiration for generations of silk scroll painters.

Day 9 GUILIN / SHANGHAI (AB, L, D)
Take flight to Shanghai and transfer to Four-star Ambassador Hotel or similar. After lunch, visit Shanghai Pudong Industrial district and the famous waterfront Bund.

Day 10 SHANGHAI (AB, L, D)
Today's sightseeing introduces the major attractions of the city, which includes Nanjing Road, Yuyuan Garden, the Museum of Art and History, and the Jade Buddha Temple. Enjoy Acrobatic show at night.
Day 11 SHA/SUZHOU/SHA (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, early morning coach or train to Suzhou. Tour includes Master's of the Nets Garden, Silk Factory or Embroidery Institute, and cruise on the famous Grand Canal. Take afternoon coach or train back to Shanghai.
Day 12 SHANGHAI / SFO (AB)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly home aboard Air China or United Airlines' wide-body jetliner.
