Day
1 SFO /BEIJING
Depart aboard Air China or United Airlines wide body jetliner for a comfortable transpacific flight (cross the international dateline).
Day 2 ARRIVE BEIJING
Arrive Beijing, the capital of China. You will be greeted at the airport and transferred to five-star King Wing Hotel or similar.
Day 3 BEIJING

Begin your sightseeing with one of the wonders of the Ming Dynasty, the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City. Visit Tian-An-Men Square, the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace.
Day 4 BEIJING

Today, a full-day excursion is planned. Travel by motor coach to the Great Wall, a 4,000-mile-long rampart built over several centuries to keep out the invading Mongols. After a hike along a portion of the Wall, travel to the Ming Tomb area, a secluded valley housing 14 imperial burial mounds. Top off the day with a traditional Beijing Duck Dinner.
Day 5 BEIJING/XI'AN

Take morning flight to Xi’an. After arrival, transfer to four-star Hotel Royal Garden Xi’an or similar. After lunch, city tour including ancient City Wall.
Day 6 XI'AN
(AB, L, D)
Today we visit the burial site of an incredible army of 8,000 lifelike terra-cotta soldiers; Neolithic Banpo Village; majestic wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy Dumpling Dinner followed by Tang Dynasty Culture Show!
Day 7 XI'AN/GUILIN

Take flight to Guilin after breakfast. After lunch, city tour features the Reed Flute Caves and Elephant Trunk Hill. Check into five-star Lijiang Waterfall Hotel or similar.
Day 8 GUILIN (AB, L, D)
Spend the day aboard a scenic Li River cruise, passing picturesque farms and fishing villages with its thousands of limestone outcroppings. Guilin has been the inspiration for generations of silk scroll painters.
Day 9 GUILIN/SHANGHAI (AB, L, D)
Take flight to Shanghai and transfer to four-star Ambassador Hotel or similar. After lunch, visit Shanghai Pudong Industrial district and the famous waterfront Bund.
Day 10
SHANGHAI (AB, L, D)
Today’s sightseeing introduces the major attractions of the city, which includes Nanjing Road, Yuyuan Garden, and the Jade Buddha Temple. Enjoy Acrobatic Show in the evening.
Day 11
SHA/SUZHOU/SHA (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, early morning coach or train to Suzhou. Tour includes Master’s of the Nets Garden, Silk Factory & & Embroidery Institute. Or cruise on the famous Grand Canal. Take afternoon coach or train back to Shanghai.
Day 12
SHANGHAI/SFO (AB)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly home aboard Air China or United Airlines wide-body jetliner.
