PRICES

All prices reflect current rates in effect at the date of presenting this website and are subject to change without notice.

RESERVATION

Reservations should be made at least 60 days prior to departure. Late reservations may be accepted up to 40 days prior to departure, subject to availability.

DEPOSIT, FINAL PAYMENT

A deposit of $300 USD should be made at the time of booking. Balance of payment must be received at least 45 days prior to departure. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in automatic cancellations.

CANCELLATIONS

Full refund, less $150 USD administrative fee per person for any cancellation received in writing up to 60 days prior to departure. After which, the following cancellation policy will apply:
59 to 30 days before departure -

29 to 8 days before departure -
$1000 USD per person
Within 7 days -
100% forfeiture of tour price per person

TAXES & TIPS

Taxes/surcharges to restaurants and hotels and tips to waiters, chamber maids and ports are included for the duration of the stay. International airport embarkation taxes are not included. Tips for Chinese national guides and local guides and motor coach drivers are left to the discretion of tour participants.

BAGGAGE HANDLING

On transpacific economy class flights, baggage allowance is two suitcases with combined dimensions not to exceed 106 inches (the sum of the three dimensions) and no single suitcase may exceed 62 inches. Baggage in China is restricted to one piece of baggage weighing only 20 kilograms (44 lbs).

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Passports of at least seven months validity are required for all tour participants. Asia Holiday Travel (AH) will secure the visa for entry into the People's Republic of china. All applications must be forwarded to the Chinese consulate or their approval. AH cannot guarantee the acceptance of your visa application. If for any reason your application is denied, a full refund will be made of any payment.

INSURANCE

We highly recommend all travelers purchase trip cancellation, hospital, medical and baggage insurance to protect their travel plans.

HEALTH

In order to ensure the smooth operation of the tours within China, the Chinese handling travel agency requires exclusion of any person whose health condition makes persons unsuitable for long trips due to mental illness, serious, chronic or contagious illness, advanced pregnancy, senility of infirmity. For the Tibet Experience tour members, due to the extreme high altitude in Tibet, a doctors certificate is requested stating that the passenger is fit to travel and that blood pressure and heart conditions are normal.

ACCOMMODATIONS

In China our local travel agency allocates accommodations based on double occupancy in some cities, and AH cannot control the selection of hotels or assignment of rooms. Cruise accommodations are based on double occupancy of twin bedded stateroom with private bath. All ships are of People's Republic of China registry. In the Orient and Southeast Asia, accommodations in elegant hotels are based on double occupancy. Single supplement is indicated on the itineraries. On occasions when accommodations must be assigned on a share basis due to insufficiency of single rooms, appropriate refunds will be made after returning tot the United States. Hotels are subject to change. Substitutions, if any, are similar class hotels.

ESCORT SERVICE

An attentive National tour guide accompanies you throughout the itinerary in China with local guides in each city when groups are over 10 passengers.

Asia Holiday Travel reserves the right to provide an attentive local guide from the first port of entry in China throughout the tour, if the size of the group is less than 10 tour participants. We also reserve the right to cancel a tour IF group departure required less than 10 participants.

TOUR FARE DOES
NOT INCLUDE

Meals or any items not specified in the itinerary, optional tours, airport taxes, cost of China visa, laundry, liquor, excess baggage, usage of telephones, personal health or baggage insurance.

TOURS

Due to occasional flight delays, some sightseeing tours might not be able to be scheduled. Also, cultural and acrobatic shows might not be available during the holidays and seasonal recesses.

MEALS

In China, a full breakfast, lunch and dinner are included daily. In the Orient and Southeast Asia, a full American breakfast daily is included.

CHINA ITINERARIES

AH has no control over the itineraries within China, which are determined solely by the Chinese local travel agency. No individual itinerary changes are permitted. Tour members not departing with the group on Day 1 from the selected gateway must provide their own transfers from International airport to the hotel at their own expense. Tour members are strongly advised to join the group in the gateway city specified in the itineraries to avoid misconceptions due to possible air traffic delays and their chance of denied entry into China.

RESPONSIBILITIES

AH is only acting as an agent for China International tour suppliers in selling services, or in accepting reservations or bookings for services that are not directly supplied by this travel agency (such as air carriage, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, meals, tour cruises, etc. ) This agency therefore shall not be responsible for breach of contract of any international or careless actions or omissions on part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay or injury to you or your travel companions or group members. AH shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorists activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions or conditions outside of AH's control. By embarking on his/her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved with such travel, where expected or unexpected. AH reserves the right to decline, accept or retain any person as a tour member and to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason. A full payment will be refunded to passengers in such case. Your retention of ticket, reservation or booking after issuance shall constitute a consent to the above and an agreement on your part to convey the contents here to your travel companions or group members.
